Our Goal

Our goal is to raise $10 million by the end of 2027 to fund the establishment of five new paralysis recovery centers around the U.S.

By expanding the network, we aim to create a nationwide continuum of care that offer the best chance for recovery, independence and overall health for this underserved community.

TEAM NEXT STEP & THE WORLD'S
TOUGHEST ROW

In June, 2027, a team of volunteer rowers (Team Next Step) will embark on the World’s Toughest Row—a non-motorized race from Monterey, California to Kaua’i.

Supported by volunteer shore team, as well as staff, our purpose is to raise $10 million to support paralysis recovery.

Currently, we are a team of four rowers, three shore teammates, many volunteers, and growing.
